Attorney Victor Porras was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Ysleta High School, he attended Texas A&M University and graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and Minors in Spanish and Psychology. It was during his time at Texas A&M University where he met his wife, Jessica, that he decided to pivot into a new field and chose to attend law school after receiving encouragement from Jessica and her family.

Victor chose to attend The University of Houston Law Center. During his time at the University of Houston Law Center, Victor completed internships at the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office in South Texas and with the Honorable Calvin Botley, Federal Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. After graduating from law school, Victor began his criminal defense career.
